In this app you can keep track of your pain rate in an easy way and share it with your practitioner, family member or whoever you want.
This app is developed by someone with chronic pain. By keeping track of his daily activities and pain rate, he learned what triggers the pain and how to be in better control of the pain. At first he was writing all this information down. This felt like a lot of work and he was missing a quick overview of the data he’d collected. So he thought it would be easier to build his own system in the form of an app. Being sick is annoying enough! This way he was able to share the collected data with his healthcare professionals and they could help him with a good day schedule. By making the app available to others, he hopes to be able to help others with this same problem, and make life easier!
Just a couple of things this app will help you with:
- You can enter a daily schedule in the app. Then you will receive an alarm when it’s time to do another activity (nothing is more difficult than sticking to a schedule if no one reminds you of it).
- Determine your pain rate several times a day. By doing this you create valuable information for yourself and your practitioner. The data is easy to export to whoever you want.
- Set an alarm on the times you need to take your medication. Also you will get a warning when your medication stock is low.
- Keep track of medical costs that are not paid by your health insurance. In some countries you may include these costs as costs with the tax authorities. The rules for this are different in every country. Ask your government which rules apply for you.
And hopefully in the future there will be many more functionalities added.
